Some Scattered $hit....

Can I just say......I need a vacation, badly let me add.

Things have been nuts here. My head seems to be constantly spinning out of control.
I know what you're all thinking, what can "I" possibly have going on in my wee little life.

Well its probably not much to some, but to me its alittle overwhelming sometimes. And since its MY LIFE, well I think I'm entitled to feel that way.

Work is nuts. So many new programs to learn and use. Some are handy, some are just a waste of my time. But I do them to make the "big wigs" happy.

Family, well we ALL know that they are nutjobs.
My Mom's sister got committed to a mental ward a couple weeks ago at 66 years of age.
She was sent there on like a Wednesday.
By that weekend, somehow she fell and broke her hip.
By Monday she was dead. WTF?

My sister, ya all know MY sister, she has yet to even say a word about any of it to my Mom. Not a single "sorry" or "what happen" or anything at all. She's just a self centered biatch.

My brother and sister in law, they are beyond words just stupid sometimes. They have 3 beautiful girls. My sister in law hasn't worked in almost 2 years now. She lost her job by being an idiot with her cell phone in the office. Anyway, somehow they got the electric turned off in their house they other night. Hello? Are you kidding me?

My niece got accussed of stealing at work and lost a weeks pay while it was all straightened out with the union. She was proven innocent, just as she swore she was. I believed her without doubt, but my sister? HER MOTHER, didnt believe her. Can you imagine? I'll say it again BITCH!

Kim and I hit a bump in the road, that lasted a few days. But we finally sat and talked it out together and things are good again. Thank goodness!

Thankfully I had the Tramp and the Princess to not only keep me occuppied and feed for the few days, but as always they offered many words of hope and encouragement. I love you gals LOTS.

The weather here was aweful last night. So bad that it put an end to the 25 year Dogwood tree in our backyard. We called it Brenden's (my nephew) tree. It would always be in full bloom for his birthday every year at the end of April.
Death of the 25 yr Dogwood Tree.

Well I hope things settle down alittle bit for awhile, cause before you know it.....holidays are here. YIKES!

*Update- now I have a sinus infection and feel like crap*

Paging Betty Crocker..or maybe Betsy Ross?

Things have been crazy around here, but for the most part in a good way.

Between work, chores, errands and ME being the only responsible offspring of the family, the only one that makes sure my parents are ok - and Kim taking care of her kids at her house and then coming to stay here to end our day - it seems the days get longer and longer.
Am I complaining? Oh hell NO, not at all.

I guess it took me to be in my 40's to actually have some sense of maturity.
It seems like NOW I can accept the whole time management aspect of life, of not only MY life and the people I've had it in forever - but also of Kim's life and her girls. I think I'm handling it pretty good for the most part, although I won't lie I've had a couple of meltdowns. But I've worked thru them, actually WE've worked thru them together!

And Kim? She's just fantastic!
She loves doing domestic stuff and making people happy.
She's made me dinner many times. She helps with my errands.
I've made her breakfast, and it wasn't cereal. It involved mixing and putting on the stove!

The other week, we were going to visit Donna and her family, so Kim wanted to make cupcakes for Enzo and a cheesecake for the rest of us, Why?
Just because!
He loved them! Aren't they cute?

She even made cupcakes for her and I -

She loves doing those things and she gets help and spends time with her girls doing it.
This week she made a baby shower cake and cupcakes for someone at work and even managed to get me into the action too. Who would have thought "I" would be frosting cupcakes?

I'm tired, its seems like I'm always tired. But its a great tired!
During the work week I use to be in bed and asleep by 9:30, but now? Not so much.
We're lucky to be IN bed by 9:30 now - and then? Well as Donna has labeled it, we go from baking to "doing alittle sewing" :::WINK WINK:::

This weekend I have the WHOLE weekend off from work, trust me folks that is rare!
Tonight is my annual appreciation dinner for work.
Kim is coming with me! Its at a very nice Hilton and we are staying overnight.
I've been looking forward to this for a month now. I normally don't care too much for the outing, but this year I have Kim with me and even if the dinner party sucks, the night is going to end great!

Tomorrow we pretty much have to ourselves and then a quick driveby to my brother's house for one of my niece's birthday.....and in hand we will have another homemade cheesecake! Don't worry about me and cheesecakes, I've lost 10 lbs in 2 months according to the doctor's scale. Hmmmm? Must be all the SEWING!
