Whats the point?

Hot enough for ya?

Yesterday was a killer here in the tri state area. Something like 3" of rain in 2 hours.
A tornado even in Brooklyn NY!
The New York City subway system was shut down by flooding, as were dozens of highways and local streets.
I know I had to drive on "some" sidewalks in Hoboken NJ in order to get to work, and I was over an hour late!

After the rain and roads started to clear, the temp shot up along with the humidity! It was absolutely horrible! I really just wanted to die. I've not been feeling well since Monday! Doctor told me then it was viral....I think she needs her license revoked!

I only worked a couple of hours actually and then my niece and I went to see this on Broadway for FREE!
WoooHooo! It was actually more entertaining than I thought it would be. And we were center orchrestra! SMACK CENTER!

After we strolled around a bit. Went to the M&M Store,

Do you know they charge $9 for a pound of candy? Upsurd! But of course I bought some for all the kids -and I made a bag of rainbow for my girlfriend who was just lying around having knee surgery instead of coming with us.
Oh and the pills in the background? I'm in the middle of the worse sinus infection in YEARS! Which made the day and the weather just soooo much more pleasant!

As my niece and I strolled back towards the train we saw a guy with like a 6' yellow snack wrapped around him like a scarf.....just walking like it was NORMAL! Couldnt get a picture cause I was too disgusted and was banging into people and falling off the curb!

My niece posed for a picture with the Statue of Liberty. Looks thrilled, doesnt she?

After that we settled into the H@rd R*ck C@fe for some dinner...We were both starving at this point.

After that, just headed home. My head ready to explode and my nose ready to just fall off my face. Hmmmm? Both of these could actually be an all around improvement. Thankfully my niece didnt bring her eyeglasses so she didnt beg me to let her drive the 40 miles home!

But we DID have lots of fun....Been a long time of just HER & I doing something together!

Now I've taken the rest of the week off cause I was "planning" on going to the shore with some friends for a couple of days but my truck is doing that whole "battery light" on the dashboard thing AGAIN! Of course it doesnt do that when I bring it to the mechanic, G*d forbid. And now the brakes are singing badly too.

Oh and did I mention I'm sick? So much for a few days away from the madness.
If anyone is looking for me....I'm here in my apartment with Callie just waiting to clean up after my head explodes!
