Is this a joke?

It was something like 95 degrees here today. WTF? It was only suppose to be like 80, which for ME is hot enough.

So to try and convince myself that it "wasn't" so hot, I wore this tee shirt.

BTW, it didn't help, I was hot as hell all day....and its still 81 degrees outside at like 10pm!

What a week....

Somethings that happened in MY little corner of the world this week:

Well to start with, someone had their damn hand on the east coast thermostat and put the heat on. I'd like to break every bone in their hand. I hate the heat!

Was the first week without my store manager, only 1 of 2 I actually "liked" working for and with. Its kinda odd, and the main office didnt even assign a new manager to us. So we worked all week with just two assistants.

Monday around 8pm my sister calls me, she NEVER calls me, she lives about 20 minutes or so away. She needed a ride to the ER cause she thought she broke her ankle......AROUND 3pm that day! WTF?
So I treked up to her and took her to the ER. Dropped her ass at the door in a wheel chair and said "buh bye - email me tomorrow with the details" OH YES I DID KIDS! Why wait around? I'm NOT a doctor, nor do I play one on television!

Tuesday.....no memory of anything. Must have been an okay day. Except I guess for the fact that it was probably HOT! Oh and speaking of HOT, I had a gyno appointment.....doctor is sooooo NOT hot!

Wednesday, the 2 "existing managers at work are already cracking under the pressure and 12 hour days.
Took Dad to the Yankee game. They actually WON too! Oh and 2 dingbats ran onto the field, so it was entertaining to watch them get tackled by security and KNOW that they will spend 36 hours in jail before even seeing a judge for release. HeeeHeeee! Don't drop the soap boys!

Thursday, work is getting crazier by the day. Where is the new store manager?
I spoke to the newly retired one on the phone. He asked me if I missed him yet. Hell no. But I did ask him that since it was 2:30 in the afternoon "was he even out of his pj's yet" -- He just laughed. Heck I was serious.

Still hot in NJ.....

Friday.....day 10 in a row of working. Of course I got up late. Showed up for work at 7:30 instead of 6:30.
Walked into finding out that 1 of the 2 existing managers was FIRED last night. Oh for what you ask? FOR STEALING 2 DOZEN EGGS! How stupid can you be? 20 years in the company and you steal eggs?
Mind you, managers can eat ANYTHING & EVERYTHING they want while working.....but at the end of the day, anything you want to bring home you better have a receipt just like the rest of us.

So they brought in an "emergency" store manager for the time being. Thankfully I know him, he is someone I've worked with before. He's alittle high strung, but "OK" none the less.

I was driving behind this guy on the way home from work.....Pretty cool huh? Well I thought so.

Tonight, I just had a quiet and fun night with my friend Donna and her soon to be 2 year old son Enzo. Taught him to march and salute. Of course he covers his whole eye and reminds me of a dysfunctional pirate. But we'll work on that.

Now, I'm just settling on the couch with Callie.....a beer....the tv remote....and vegging out.

Tomorrow, a whole lot of NOTHING except giving Callie a special treat of a can of cat food. Why? Cause tomorrow is her 1 year anniversary of being saved from the shelter and making my life some much more fun!

Yes, she still likes lying ontop of the fridge!
