Naptime....

Callie decided to sprawl out on my lap and take alittle catnap as I watched alittle afternoon television. Looks comfy don't she? So much for "taking time" to get use to her new surroundings!

Introducing......

I adopted a cat. This is Callie the Calico. Isn't she a beauty? She has only been here a few hours. I'll let you know how the weekend goes! But so far, so good. She looks pretty comfy on my chair - don't cha think?

Bird Flu in the USA

I am sharing this with numerous friends to warn them of the first siting of the avian flu to hit Florida. This picture is not for the faint of heart...so brace yourselves!

It is sadly a story that must be told both to those in Florida and across the country.

Should you know anyone who is planning a trip to Florida...they should be informed as well.

I'm alittle late...

I wanted to send this around Easter time, but couldn't locate it on this computer from H.E.-double hockey sticks! So here ya go....

A "always complaining" man and his wife went on vacation to
Jerusalem. While they were there, the husband passed
away.

The undertaker told the wife, "You can have him
shipped home for $5,000, or you can bury him here, in
the Holy Land, for $150."

The woman thought about it and said she would just have
him shipped home. The undertaker asked, "Why would you
spend $5,000 to ship your husband home, when it would be
wonderful to be buried here and you would spend only
$150?"

The woman replied, "Long ago a man died here, was buried
here, and three days later he rose from the dead.

I just can't take that chance."
