Open letter to my Dad.....
Dear Dad,
How are ya? Keeping busy? I bet adjusting to retirement is a hard thing for you. You were always the worker. Besides your regular 40 hour weeks, you always went in earlier than scheduled. You never turned down overtime work.
Now you've been home and jobless for what is it? About a month? I'm sure you are enjoying the time watching the youngest grandchild grow up on a day to day scale. And Mom? Oh I bet she is just "speechless" when asked how she is enjoying your 24/7 presence in the house.
However, while I know you are always one for watching a movie or two during the day, might I "suggest" you drive to the video store and pick your next selection? Really, do you need to rummage thru mine? I doubt there is anything "now" in my collection that you have not seen.
Sincerely yours,
The Middle black sheep Child
Okay folks, Dad decided to "borrow" a dvd of mine today to watch....Here is what he grabbed from the rack: I asked him how he "liked it" ....He just grinned and I believe he mumbled the word "muff" a couple of times, Yup the word he used was "MUFF"...God help me.

Synopsis: Better Than Chocolate
Better Than Chocolate is a lesbian love story.
Walking home from an evening at the lesbian club 'Cat's Ass,' Maggie is confronted by a gang of skinheads. Suddenly a minibus comes to a screeching halt and out jumps Kim. The skins move on, and Maggie thanks Kim, who watches her go. This is their first meeting.
Maggie has recently dropped out of law school and now works in a women's shop. To avoid a confrontation with her mother, she makes up a success story and tells her that she's living in a beautiful apartment.
As her mother is having her difficulties with her second husband, she decides to take her young son and come to live with Maggie for a while.
Meanwhile, Maggie is housesitting the apartment of a female performer on tour. As fate might have it, she runs across Kim again and they find themselves at the new apartment making love in the shower -- at which moment Maggie's mother and little brother step in.

Rosa Parks....RIP
Along with names like Jackie O, Princess Di, Laura Bush, and others, this is "ONE WOMAN" I would have liked to have met and chatted with in my lifetime.
Are you going to stand up? - "No".
I will have you arrested if you don't - "You may do that".
Rosa Lee Parks, whose refusal to give up her bus seat to a white man sparked the modern civil rights movement, died Monday, Oct. 24, 2005.
Rosa Parks will lie in honor Sunday and Monday in the Capitol Rotunda in Washington, D.C., becoming the first woman to do so. An honor well deserved.

I HEART DR. VALLESSE.....
My dentist. I know what you're all thinking, is she TOTALLY INSANE? But its true. I went to this dentist since the day he took over the practice from the old dentist. The old one that looked and acted like Woody Allen, but that's a different story.
Dr. Vallesse, he is in his mid to late 40's and he is a Q.T.PIE! Really he is. He was my dentist for about 10 yrs until I changed jobs in 1999. Ever since then, any and ALL dentists I tried, well to be frank--they $ucked!
Now since I've changed jobs again this year, Dr. Vallesse is once again in my insurance plan and again my dentist of choice!
So I've had a tooth ache the last few days, actually wasnt sure if it was a tooth problem or a sinus problem. I get pretty bad sinus infections, but again that's another story.
So anyway, I called the office today just to.....

So anyway, I called the office today just to.....
talk to him about what I was feeling and stuff with my tooth.
He tells me to come in and he will take a "lookie look" at it. Yup, thats what HE said, "Lookie Look"....Okie Dokie, I see ya @ 5:30.
Well guess what? I had a root canal done this pm. And it didnt even hurt. No even a tiny bit.
Now, really? How many dentist will do a root canal on the spot? None that I've been too in the 5 yr lapse that Dr. Vallesse was not in my insurance plans!
He always is there to help his patients.
I can even remember one year a long time ago, my EX lost a cap or a crown or her mind, NO wait it was definitly a cap or a crown, on the day after Christmas. We called him, he met us at his office even though it was closed and even though he was catching a flight to go on vacation later that same day! He is just a great guy. I love him.
So anyway, I go there today...in at 5:30....out by 6:45....I just got home and HE is on my answering machine CHECKING ON ME! That kind of stuff just amazes me! Boy, I tell ya....if I were "straight" he would really ROCK MY WORLD!
OK, thats it...I'm off to eat a $hitload of something sugary. ;0)

Nope....No serial killers here....
Imagine that. People from the cyper world turning out to be mostly normal. HaaHaaa. The blogger get together was GREAT! We had a lot of fun!
I must admit, I was semi hesitant to go. Hell, I had a couple of beers before I even got there in order to prepare myself.
But I went. Immediately, my fears grew as I walked into Laura and Debby 's to find them HeeHaw-ing with Trisha.
But in no time at all it was pretty apparent that no one was going to whip out an UZI gun and kill us all.

Soon enough all that were coming, were present and accounted for.
Deb's friend, Eric, from the "B" place, was there and also Ari & Amber
We had alot to drink. Tons of food. And a GA-Zillion laughs!
I'm sure the others will or have written of the night on their blogs, so be sure to visit them all.
I'll hit on a few highlights:
Ari, is the spitting image of the actor Chris O'Donnell. A super funny and nice guy with a wife that is a total compliment to him!
Trisha did a re-enactment of Meg Ryan in the diner in the movie "When Harry Met Sally" when Eric gave her a quickie massage!
The Princess was strutting around in her tiara.
Laura's OCD got the better of her when she got a little spot on her shirt, and when the little Halloween decorations seem to just start "turnig themselves about" just like the Hokey Pokey! (Have y'all noticed the 3 little ghosts yet?)LOL!
And surprisingly, even the skiddish cat "Bear" made a brief appearance. "BRIEF" would be the key word there folks!
It's too bad more of you couldn't make it, it really was a lot of fun, I'm glad I went!

No love lost here folks.....
Things I hate…
1. Neighbors who mow their lawns at 7am on the weekends.
2. Drivers who are all the way to the right to make a left hand turn and vice versa!
3. Having my coffee order at Dunkin Donuts screwed up. SPEAK & UNDERSTAND ENGLISH DAMN IT!
4. Never seeming to have enough money in my pockets.
5. Mail order prescription plans.
6. Stairs. Especially having to go down them.
7. Hot cocoa without mini marshmallows.
8. The dress code at work.
9. People pulling out in front of me while driving, ONLY to make me have to brake cause they’re driving so F-ing slow!
10. Round shoelaces.
11. People who can NOT work their own friggin car alarms!
12. When people do not reply to emails. Or worse, people who delete emails without reading them!
13. B*tches who spend $200-$300 on "A" purse.
14. The old-ugly-fat pervert who lives across the street.
15. The amount of beer my brother drinks on a daily basis!
16. The foreigner at the hair salon who is missing more teeth than she actually has in her mouth.
17. My mattress.
18. People who do NOT use blinkers when driving!
19. Being alone for so long.
20. The way my sister talks to her kids, husband, and the rest of the world. B*T#H!
21. Rap Music
22. Tom & Katie….Anything about them at all, I hate it!
23. People who “forward…forward….forward” emails! Copy & Paste people, PLEASE!
Thank You....Have a nice day!

Change of plans
Okay, this is 'not' what I had planned on blogging next,,,BUT,,,Our good friend Vegas Princess sent this to me this evening.
Many of you don't know me personally, I don't usually get all kinds of mushy. I get emotional easily, not normally mushy. But this... It's just beautiful and it MUST be shared.
Lauren, Thank you. Thank you very much for sending this to me and for all the kind emails you have sent me recently.
**Warning** This will make you cry!
The Rainbow Bridge
Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.
There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again,
just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing;
They each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance.
His bright eyes are intent; his eager body quivers.
Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass,
his legs carrying him faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again.
The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress that beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
Then you will cross the Rainbow Bridge together....

Thanks to all......
Alright, so here I am. I know it's been awhile, but I just had to take my time. Of course somedays are better than others still. But I know its all going to be okay.
I want to "THANK YOU" all for your kind thoughts and words. They mean alot to me!
The bunny room, aka living room, is all cleaned up. Cage is down.
CC's "stuff" is either packed away for another bunny to use in the future or I've donated it to a local animal shelter.
Of course, there were certain things that I felt had to "go with him"
It's awfully quiet here. Too quiet sometimes. I find myself still looking for or listening for him from time to time.
Then I realize, $hit! He isnt here anymore. I'm sure I'll get over that in time. Hell, I did the same thing when the EX left too, and I got over her sad sorry A$$ not being here. LOL.
So since CC is buried in the yard, I thought I get him one last present ~ although his whole life was "A Christmas Morning"
So hopefully in the next few days, I'll have an entry ~non bunny related~ of importance or of humor to write about.
I ordered this marker and it came the other day.

And a friend from online drew this for me:
