Some people are just idiots....

I'm sure this is going to offend some people who read this....Let me just say 2 things off the top: 1. Sorry and 2. I'm sure my blog friends are NOT like this woman.

Okay, so I'm sure you all are aware of the nation wide program called Code Adam right?

Well it is used where I work, it has been for years and years. Today was the first day I was actually "there" to see it in action.

Okay, so I'm sure you all are aware of the nation wide program called Code Adam right?

Well it is used where I work, it has been for years and years. Today was the first day I was actually "there" to see it in action.

It's 3:30 in the afternoon and I'm getting ready for the end of my shift and the 40 minute ride home. So you know where I am right? Yup, balancing over the toilet bowl in the ladies room....See Ellen, I listen to you!... Anyway, I hear over the store public announcement system "ATTENTION ALL EMPLOYEES,,WE HAVE A CODE ADAM IN PROGRESS"

So I get myself all zipped up and out of there and start searching the store like everyone else. Mind you, when Code Adam goes into effect, NO ONE is allowed to leave the store right away. I mean they let people leave, one by one, after being searched by security. BUT NO ONE who is with a child is allowed to leave if they even slightly seem to resemble the child missing. About the only way you can leave with a kid is if they are obviously in a different age group or ethnic race. THAT'S IT!

So we are searching for a 3 yr old girl with a yellow shirt. Searching everywhere you could think, and places you would NOT think to search. The mother is frantic and crying, running here and running there throughout the store & outside the store. Outside the store you think? Hmmmm didnt I just say NO ONE is allowed to leave? Yup, I did. But its the "out of her mind mother" and who is going to stop her?

Anyway, the minutes tick away and no one can find the little girl. After 10 minutes, we call the police. That's the rules! About a half dozen cop cars show up and lots of police officers. The cops are talking to my friend who is the store manager and has all the info written down. Her name, age, hair, shoes, clothing and all the important info given by the Mom.

The police start combing the lot and the back of the store. They can't find the little girl and NOW they can't find the mother either!!

All of a sudden, trying to pull out of a parking spot is the F-ING MOTHER WITH THE KID STRAPPED INTO HER CAR SEAT IN THE BACK!! JUST GETTING READY TO LEAVE LIKE NOTHING HAS BEEN GOING ON "OUT OF THE NORM" FOR THE LAST 20 MINUTES!!
OK, I understand the mother was upset over the whole thing. I can EVEN understand that maybe she was slightly embarrassed, but WTF? She was just going to Leeeeeave? Leave everyone in the store and all the police officers looking for HER kid?

2 words:
Stupid Bitch!

Something to Ponder....

MONEY....

It can buy a House
But not a Home

It can buy a Bed
But not Sleep

It can buy a Clock
But not Time

It can buy a Book
But not Knowledge

It can buy a Position
But not Respect

It can buy Medicine
But not Health

It can buy Blood
But not Life

It can buy Sex
But not Love

Money isn't everything. And it often causes pain and suffering.

I tell you all this because I am your Friend,
and as your Friend I want to take away your pain and suffering...

So send me all your money and I will suffer for you.

I ACCEPT CASH, MONEY ORDERS,
PERSONAL CHECKS, CASHIERS CHECKS,
BAGS OF GOLD, BARS OF PLATINUM, ETC.

PLEASE: NO CHILDREN AS PAYMENTS.
THEY WILL BE RETURNED,

Hi....Howdy.....Hello....Miss Me?

How's everyone doing? Things here have just been crazy lately, I don't seem to have time to do anything "fun"....

Work is okay, somewhere new every week, so it takes a few days to get settled and to be able to "get there and get home" without getting lost. God, it seems like MapQuest is my new best friend.

Been doing alot with the kids, had a bunch of birthdays in a row, the New York Yankees are raising my blood pressure beyond normal limits,I've been making a killing on Ebay, I've been having some medical tests done (no worries), planning and having a hugh baby shower for my friend Donna who is very close to the end of her first pregnacy!

Hopefully things are going to calm down soon, yeah right! Here are some photos from the shower.

This is Donna with her 2 sisters, brother and Mom....I've known them now for YIKES 28 yrs! $hit I'm getting OLD!
