Happy Sunday, well, as happy as it can be anyway, with Monday looming. Feeling ALOT better today. Had a nasty, snotty sinus infection which kept me in bed all of yesterday. We had a productive Friday, however, tore up the carpet in our computer room, threw out TONS of stuff, and made a whole new room out of it. I have to walk by it occassionally just to examine our fine handiwork. Our garbage men are going to hate us.
Dinner is in the oven. For a change, no pasta today. We have homemade (thanks Laur) bruschetta on garlic cheese toast points, honey-terriaki chicken, homemade macaroni salad, broccolli..and for dessert, angel food cake topped with ice cream, hot fudge, whipped cream and voila! A cherry. Dinner is at 4:00 if you would like to stop by..
Garry is still vacationing in Disneyworld. He worked the 4th and 5th of July, and I pick him up at the airport tomorrow, but only till me moves back for good in September. I don't know if I mentioned this, but he has been working with me since he got back from his Internship. I am REALLY going to miss him when he goes. I think we both have had such a good time working together, we kinda see each other in a different light, and it has brought us even closer, if possible. I love him to pieces and could not be more proud of him. He is an awesome individual, and I am thankful for the time we have had to spend together before he leaves to fulfill his dream.
Billy is in and out. I will hear from him 2 or 3 days in a row, then nothing for a week. Ugh. Last I heard from him is July 3rd when he got back from running 3 miles in the sand in 103 degree weather. Texas is STILL better than Iraq, and I am grateful for the time he has there until he deploys in September. I ordered wristbands for us and his closest friends...they are camo, and on one side say: PFC Bill Morere, on the other: Till he comes home. They should be here in about 5 days. Mine is going on and staying on until next July when I see his face. I pray for that day to come quickly.
Speaking of prayers, thank ALL OF YOU who have sent us emails letting us know that you are praying for him. There can NEVER be too many prayers, good thoughts, or well wishes. I have "known" alot of you for a LONG time now (years)...and you feel very much like family to us. Thank you.. we love you.
Wishing all of you a happy Sunday....

Dinner sounds delicious, especially that dessert! I love the idea of the wristbands. Texas is indeed hot, but it isn't Iraq...
